Hultafors Heavy Duty Knife

Bought 2 Heavy duty knives about 10 years ago, knife number 1 was going to be a project, it never happened, it was to good and usefull as it was, That poor knife went through hell and high water, I bashed and smashed the living daylights out of it, but...I trimmed off the roughend plastic handle, re ground the blade bevel, sharpened it back to life, then did the same all over again.. Eventually I gave knife 1 to a car mechanic in need, knife 2 is still used for same rough and tumble, sharpened only this evening after garden abuse and its frightenily sharp, the spine is squared off for both fire strike and scraping old paint etc, 10 years of hard labour for the price of a pint, unbelievable value, durability and quality.

Sharp, heavy duty duty bargain! Hard to believe how cheap these are! Just buy one, use it and abuse it!

Could do with a sharper blade,relatively blunt for a new knife.

Just received three more of these knives, what incredible value! sturdy, chunky, razor sharp. My first one ( recent order ) had a really poorly unfinished spine, but this latest three are totally fine so I guess I had a rogue, but it's easily sorted and it's a workhorse so it doesn't really matter. I'm still in shock at the amazing value of these things. Speed of delivery is also phenomenal! I have no idea how they manage it; othewr companies should take note because Heinnie is PLATINUM STANDARD for service.

As a civils ground worker I tend to be very hard on blades. After snapping another I got in touch with Richard from Heinnie and explained my requirements, he suggested I look at the Hultafors range and I decided to go for the heavy duty. For £6.95 I can’t believe the quality and strength of the blade, impressive edge out the box and the textured grip is essential when using with wet hands. After using it for a week I’ll be ordering another as a spare and I’m glad I got in touch with Richard for his honest recommendation.

Comfortable solid handle. Easy to sharpen, takes a flat grind quite easily. Useful simple shape, good size I would have preferred slightly longer. It is my go to for batoning. Unbelievably tough, edge retention surprisingly good. And it’s £6 Unbelievable

Super heavy duty knife for £5.95 unbelievable value really, it's great value and quality finish is not as nice as a Mora but it's a workman like blade, definitely no complaints just amazed it's possible in this day and age, well done Sweden keep up the good work.

I'm surprised that a knife made in Sweden (I think) is so cheap. Very functional great weight and feel in the hand, with a sturdy “Carbon Steel” blade which I assume is stainless too. Be great if Hultafors made a leather sheath as an option but that would probably put the cost up.
