It features an additional bottom fold which will guarantee great warmth even during serious cold. I have purchased other,far more expensive watchman hats and can honestly say that this is the best. Great fit, non itch and good 2 season weight. I will buy another from HH.
I have helikon-tex's other winter cap that is 100% merino wool and is very warm but of course being wool it regulates temperature very well. This one is more of a autumn/spring cap as it breaths a lot more than the other one, it also looks better in my opinion.
