What I wanted was stainless steel which clipped together neatly and strongly unlike plastic sets which never stay together. A bit heavy unlike plastic. I'm assuming the can opener is an under the rim type but in the absence of instructions how wouild I know. If so I fear a sharp rim to to the can rather than the lid being sharp.
This was once the German army KFS set I believe? I have owned the 1st gen set for over 20 years now still looks brand new. I cannot recommend this product enough, yes it is heavy but will out live you. Great bit of kit.
