Helikon- Tex Greyman Tactical Jeans

This is the 4th pair of these jeans I’ve bought. The Helikon greyman jeans are super comfortable and have ample storage options for my EDC. The 2 back pockets are divided so you can easily put a pocket knife and pry bar in the dividers and not have them clanging into each other. The standard front pockets are well made with good stitching. What really makes these jeans for me however is the two front thigh pockets. These easily take my iPhone even in my heavy duty aluminium case, without bulging or feeling uncomfortable. As the name suggests the greyman jeans don’t look Tactical they just look like a traditional jean but they really have a lot more storage without going cargo combat trouser.

Normally I'd purchase my jeans from the likes of Next or TK Maxx...but for years I've noticed high street quality to go down substantially over the jeans, with jeans splitting in the crotch area especially after around 1-2 months of regular wear. I made it my mission to get something a bit more hard wearing and functional, and with these jeans I've certainly found that. The Helikon Greyman jeans fit me wonderfully, the variety of pockets are great, and the mag pockets on the legs are perfectly suited for my Sony Xperia 1ii phone, which is massive! The elasticity of the denim isn't too much but enough to give you comfort and stretch in every scenario, and the velcro fastening is amazing, reminds me of my REORG BJJ shorts. Highly recommended, but don't buy all of my size please....I will likely be buying more! hahaha.

I've tried Pentagon rogue jeans, Kitanica Jeans and have finally settled on these as my jeans of choice. One of the best things is that the front pockets actually fit a newer style large phone. I also love that Helikon use velcro instead of a front button. They also contain a good amount of elastaine so they fit well if, like me, you've got an athletic build with strong legs and a narrow waist. As with most Helikon trousers, the rear pockets are more like side/hip pockets which is great as you don't then sit on whatever you're carrying!
