The GORUCK Shoulder Bag in waxed canvas is a tidy bit of kit for everyday use when a rucksack is too much. Built by GORUCK, the US brand founded by Jason McCarthy with a focus on durability and understatement, this bag leans into practical design rather than fashion noise, constructed with time proven materials.

The 10.10oz Army Duck Canvas can be traced back all the way to the mid-19th century. The way that it is constructed is with an incredibly tight weave of the yarn, making it tough and resistant to tearing. The extra layer of wax protects the fabric from different elements you may encounter, and makes the fabric waterproof, yet allows it to sweat vapor and still not stiffen or yellow over time. It only looks better with age and use.

Aside from shrugging off drizzle and daily grime, waxed canvas also ages with character, each crease and mark telling its story rather than looking tired. The construction is also a precise process, with every seam passed twice to add bartack stitch reinforcement and ensure the Shoulder Bag is incredibly durable.
