The idea of GiantMouse was formed over drinks one evening during a US knife show in 2015. Danish designers / knifemakers Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes (Vox), along with their American entrepreneur friend Jim Wirth, decided that they could build a better mousetrap, so to speak. A knife brand that can provide amazing knife designs, with the highest possible production quality, at a fair price, while remaining closely involved with its community of customers.
GiantMouse used 5mm BÖHLER M390 STEEL for this new variation of the ever popular GMF1, and gave it a satin finish to create a beefy little utility fixed blade that will address any cutting task that comes your way. Three separate areas of jimping ensure a solid grip no matter what your chore. The rounded spine and beautifully chamfered holes in the handle add elegance to an otherwise extremely functional cutting tool. Each GMF1-FS comes with a handmade Italian black leather sheath designed by Ansø and Vox specifically for this knife
