The Ganzo 806 is a very reasonably priced but very high quality outdoor, bushcraft knife. Pop one in your pack or stick one on your belt and your ready to go! The blade is a classic bushcraft shape and is made from stonewashed 8Cr14 stainless steel. It is sharpened to a razor sharp edge.
The handle is a mix of plastic and rubber providing a solid and easy to grip surface. The knife is supplied with a plastic belt sheath with a drainage hole.

A shameless copy of Benchmade's 200 PUUKKO....but for a tenth of the price. It's blade is thinner (a good thing im my opinion) and the steel is a basic stainless affair to Benshmade's magic metal. The 806's sheath is moulded plastic with the stiffest retention iIve come across. better than the Moras' and Hultafors knives of similar ilk...and well worth the extra few quid.
I bought this because I liked the blade shape and to see what Ganzo's take on a Mora or Hultafors knife is like. I'm happy to say it's great. The blade is indeed an attractive shape, it's very sharp and cuts well. The grippy handle is comfortable to use with well thought out, practical texturing. The lanyard hole is a decent size. The sheath is good, the knife fits snugly with no rattling but is still easy to draw. There's a drainage hole and the integral fold over belt clip will fit a wide, thick belt. For the money it's a great knife. However it's also 2 - 3 quid more than a comparable Mora and a fiver more than a Hultafors Craftsman. That's fine by me as I like the blade shape better but it will be a consideration for some people, perhaps especially if someone is buying a dozen for something like a scout group or bushcraft school. A £50 saving buys a lot of woggles. That aside the knife absolutely gets five stars.
Great little bushcraft knife, it feels good in the hand, non slip in the wet, blade is easy to sharpen, for the money it's a no brainer to get one or two. put them in your tackle box or BO Bag. Definitely 5* for the price.
