Ganzo knives are relative newcomers to the knife manufacturing scene but have already made a significant stirring in the minds of avid knife collectors, enthusiasts and users.

Not only do they produce knives of significant quality but the prices are extraordinarily affordable. Consider the list of features; 440C stainless steel blade, beautifully centred into the handle, dual thumbstud, secure G-lock mechanism, solid G10 handle, pocket clip. Plus the build quality and attention to detail is excellent.

You could happily estimate that a knife with such features would cost you aroung £60 to £80. But no....check it out for yourself and be prepared for a lovely surprise!

    Ganzo G704

Posted by Mat on 26th Jun 2023

For a lower end priced knife it’s actually quite good. (Bought it mainly for the locking mechanism, next on my collection list is a button lock) Works well, very sharp out of the box. Nicely presented with a wee micro cloth bag and everything. But… gulp, loses a star due to it weighing in around the 5/6 tonne mark and as I’m ageing rapidly in the wrong direction it doesn’t take much for the hand cramps to kick in. So, strictly a young dudes workhorse. (Heinnie as always, brilliant service) ✌????

heavier than expected in all ways

Posted by Bill Richards on 16th May 2023

I love the look and feel of this knife when using it, it is sturdy enough for mid to heavy work. The knife itself is heavier than expected and while the blade is good I don't find it fun to fidget with and the lock is a LOT heavier than I like REasonable knife but a long way from my favourite

    Ganzo 704

Pro's, cheap, well made, blades on bearings, smooth one hand opening, wrist flip or thumb flip, axis lock, drop shut, pocket clip. Cons, a little heavy.

    Ganzo 704 Army green

Posted by David on 6th Sep 2021

Had this knife for over a year now and abuse it daily at work. . .and I mean abuse it, the blade arrives extremely sharp and did last well but eventually dulled and I must learn how to sharpen because apart from this this knife is an absolute tank that can take anything you throw at it and for a very low price. Handy size, and everything works as should , very easy one hand opening and clunk's shut and stays there - please get more in stock as will order again. . .usual amazing service and incredibly quick delivery from HH.

    Very good ganzo

Posted by Gary on 26th Apr 2020

Not expecting a great deal however. It came very sharp. After a quick disassembly, clean and oil, (I always do this) the action is great, really impressed with the g lock (axis lock). The liners are milled out but this is still a heavy knife, blade centering is fine. Overall well pleased, only reason it drops a star is because of the weight.

    I can't fault it.

Posted by ToNka on 1st Jan 2019

I don't know if I've ever owned a knife, I could say is better value than this. It has amazing fit and finish. The blade gets very sharp very easily, and seems to hold the edge quite well too. The blade is advertised by Ganzo as 440C, but I would suspect it is a Chinese equivalent such as 99Cr18MoV, which would be no bad thing. Either way, it gets sharp. Ganzo aren't shy about stealing ideas from other manufacturers, but they are good ideas, and it's yours for a fraction of the cost of its US influencers. This means you needn't be worried about working it hard. I had heard good things about this knife before I bought one, and I was not disappointed.

    Well built, well priced

Posted by Jay on 17th Jul 2017

Very well built, may be a little heavy for some people but I enjoy knowing I have a solid knife, the weight gives confidence. Razor sharp OTB. The handles are grippy and the jimping is also very good. The Axis lock is amazing. One handed opening and closing was very difficult at first, as the lock was very stiff. Dissembling the knife and removing a spring (there are two) from the lock really helps. Tiny bit of rusting on the metal liners out of the box, but I mean really tiny. Not a big issue, unless more occurs in the future. Easy to sharpen, edge retention seems good. Really happy with this being my first knife. Oh, and really impressed with Heinnie's postage speed!
