Excellently constructed lightweight tarp, worth trusting

Posted by Shawn from Jersey on 19th Feb 2020

We were treated to a milder version of Dennis here, but it gave an excellent opportunity to put the tarp to a severe test. No metal and great re- enforcement at stress points instilled confidence. The corner reinforcements even allow storage of guy lines. Low weight and easy storage help to justify the admittedly high price. Buy cheap, buy twice though. My only gripe is that the colour of the images is way off. The fabric is a deep green, almost a bronze green. No where near the mud/ khaki/ olive colour indicated. This may or may not be relevant for your intended use. Otherwise, buy with confidence.

High quality made tarp. Lightweight and easy to pack in the rucksack. Small bag is included to storage the tarp. Just love this tarp. Highly recommended.

      Same but better

Posted by RobinClive Bracey on 19th Jul 2013

As I unrolled this item I thought this is much lighter than the one I have carried before.Im not a fan of light weight gear, hence I carry a 58 patt water bottle and a Klean Kanteen 40 oz back up not some Nalgene play thing,But this Fox basha is good gear, plenty of attachment, points .If it works as good as it looks, like the other three reviews state I will be well pleased.Am I happy with HH and basha yes take a 5

      Solid and well made

Posted by Dave on 18th Apr 2012

I've used this basha several times now and it is strong while being quite lightweight. It has plenty of attachment points. The only criticism I have is that it didn't have a centre loop along the ridgeline so I had to sew my own one on.

      Great Tarp

Posted by Scott, Wessex Blades on 21st May 2011

After a year of using this Tarp, I can easily recommend to anyone. I store in my Bergen top and it can set up in minutes, easy to dry, clean and fold back up. An essential component to Bush Craft systems.
