Started wearing more merino wool recently and replacing my walking socks with merino wool/wool socks. These are no disappointment, they are superbly cushioned around the toes and heel, have a bit of support around the arch and top of the foot. The socks are high enough to use with higher boots if need be. They've kept my feet warm outside and inside during the UK autumn / cold spell we've had. Wearing with trail trainers/boots they are comfortable to wear all day, they allow great ventilation to keep your feet dry. Wash on a normal cycle and air dry, these socks have not lost any shape / structure / elasticity. They are definitely worth it. Buy cheap buy twice - don't neglect your feet!
