The Fallkniven F1 is Fallkniven's, and possibly one of the worlds, most successful outdoor survival knives. It was originally designed around 30 years ago for use by the Swedish Air Force as a survival knife in the event of a pilot being forced into a survival situation. It was subsequently released into the civilian market and quickly became a massive hit. Its elevation to legendary status is certainly worth celebrating. Fallkniven thought so too and have produced this stunning piece.
The Fallkniven F1 Micarta Limited Edition is available with either a maroon or black micarta handle and uses their famous 3G powder steel. The blade features an engraving of the JAS 39 Griffin NG (Next Generation) single-engine multirole fighter aircraft and of course the Fallkniven logo. The Fallkniven medallion on the handle is made from nickel silver with a coating of 24K gold. It is supplied with a full cover black leather sheath.
