Superb sheath, A1x fits perfect inside
I’m extremely happy with this solid well made sheath. It fits my A1X perfectly ,definitely a posh upgrade worth the money.
To be honest, this was a bit of a let-down. I bought this and the S1 dangler sheath. Don't get me wrong, they're very well made, so in that respect alone they're well worth the money, however, these sheaths are clearly manufactured using standard sizing. What do I mean by this? They're both exactly the same size, except that the A1 sheath is slightly longer to accommodate the longer blade. The problem with this is that the S1 sheath is slightly too big for the S1 blade and the A1 sheath is slightly too small for the A1 blade. The leather retaining strap with the press stud at the top is also a standard length, meaning it barely fits round the handle of the A1 and is too loose for the S1. You can pull the S1 out of this sheath even with the retaining strap in place. The press studs on these sheaths also somehow don't feel as high quality as the rest of the sheath, giving me doubts as to their longevity. All this doesn't make these sheaths unusable, but it's something to be aware of. To me it's a real shame that they couldn't go that extra inch and manufacture these sheaths according to the exact size of the actual knife they're meant for.
