Inspired by traditional Japanese style tanto’s the T4000S is the big brother to the T4000C (compact). With good balance, simple yet elegant shape the Extrema Ratio T4000S is a well made knife with the usual attention we have come to expect.
The T4000S has been designed for a variety of field tasks such as feathering and light batoning. The modified tanto blade shape makes for a precise cutting tool and excellent EDC knife.
The full tang blade extends beyond the handle to form a lanyard hole.
Extrema Ratio’s distinctive handle design ensures a good grip even with wet hands due to the use of Forprene a rubber of Mil-spec standard. There are no guards allowing you to apply thumb/finger pressure along the spine when required.
Supplied with a MOLLE compatible heavy duty Corudra sheath.

Add to BasketI've owned a few ER blades. Fulcrum, TASK, RAO 2, Shrapnel and now this. Cutting geometry is excellent with the thinner blade, no serrations! The knife is from the usual 6mm stock but has been thinned out just after the handle to run 4mm the entire length (tanto point excluded) making it very light and quick. Great outdoor knife without any guard to hinder your grip. Grinds are perfect as always and good and sharp out the box. Standard forprene grip is excellent.
