Good axe when I'd sorted out the cutting edge , as one side was ground more than the other side making the cutting edge offset. Exerlent service from HH as Usual
I purchased this axe last year from another site before finding HH. I am a big admirer of the est wing products I own a 20oz framing hammer that I got a few years ago and any one in the timber frame industry will tell you that est wing framing hammers are second to none. Some of the older lads in my work have had there's 20+ Years. Over time the blue handle fades to black then to a really dark green collier witch adds to the look of it and helps one judge a fellow craftsman's experience just by looking at his hammer. Onto the axe I got this to split logs for my wood burner in the summer so living in Scotland it's not saw to much use but what it has done it's done it with ease.i could have spent £10 in b&q on something that would have done the job for a few years but I wanted something to do the job a lifetime maybe even pass down because trust me this will last long enuf to do so.
