Doug Ritter RS5 MK5 Fixed Blade 18

What a cracking little blade! About the same size as my Spyderco Dragonfly which means that I am used to how that works. I needed something that I could hang round my neck or carry in the shoulder strap pocket of my favourite rucksack. It was sharp enough out of the tin fir immediate use but 2 minutes on a Arkansas stone had it like a razor. I added a Reeves knot paracord lanyard to lengthen the grip which really doea make a difference in the grip. Black bead chain on to the sheath finished it off. All in all a lovely wee slicer and perfect as a back up or even a primary, its just that handy. I do love a small blade as they usually punch above their weight. I know this one does. Oh, and Heinnie were their usual excellent selves.

A superb little blade to have as backup, I have it on a lanyard and frequently go to it for small tasks. The tin is a bonus to build a little emergency EDC Kit.

I didn't think much of this at first it went blunt rapidly the handle is small etc, however after reducing the angle to whatever the lowest is on a lansky you can give it a razor edge so now it slices food pretty well is easy to wash, resharpen and it fits inside the mini trangia cookset as a nice little food prep knife

Speachless at the absolute quality of this knife. everything about it brings an experience I recommend anyone with a liking for the fixed blades to try at least once you will be taken in just as i was 100% rated

Nice wee bit of steel with lots of potential uses in the field, I like the design as it's very versatile and has many applications. The small tin for an emergency Survival kit is a nice little addition. And as usual Heinnie Haynes had it at my door within 48 hours(that was during the recent Bank Holiday too!) HH for the best Company on the web? Probably!

Great little thing for little money, just what I wanted, great for outdoor activities and edc. Love the tin too, little extras are cool, now filled with a few emergency items . I'm like a big kid with things like these. Go get one, you know you want it

Great to see this knife back in production. For something so small it really works. Does small tasks well but excels over a small folder for last resort jobs such as batoning. Yes you could cut down a tree with this. If you.have time. A lot of time. Great knife but like the original rather let down by the sheath but in a survival tin it fulfils its function.
