David Steier is a knife maker and designer based in Louisville, Kentucky. A member of the Knife Makers Guild he has been making knives for thirty years and uses some exotic materials to outstanding affect.
The David Steier Custom Blacklip Mother Of Pearl uses a Rob Thomas Damascus blade in combination with Robert Eggerling Damascus double bolster. The handle is stunning blacklip Mother of Pearl with fileworked titanium liners. The blade features a thumbstud inlaid with mother of pearl and locks into place with a liner lock.
It is an extraordinary folder and is the only one of its kind made by the designer himself in his workshop in Kentucky.
