CRKT SPEW
A clever design which means that one has the use of the entire blade, plus a spearpoint. Nothing not to like about it for such a small knife. I would prefer it to be a folder as then one does not have to worry about losing the sheath.

Custom knifemaker and metalworker Alan Folts really knows how to get the most into a small fixed blade knife design.
The interestingly-named CRKT S.P.E.W. (Small Pocket Everyday Wharncliffe), is a slimmed down design for all around blade utility. It is tough to argue against the value of having a knife along with you, especially one as versatile and comfortable as the SPEW.
The key to any great user knife is control. These small fixed blade designs from Alan Folts offer a few of the best ever seen.

It's a nice knife and well made, although the lanyard on the handle of mine came with some damage. The blade is a fantastic shape and relatively sharp although for the price it could definitely be a better grade of steel. It fits my hand nicely and is perfect for small, everyday tasks. It comes with a belt loop as well which is a nice addition, but I chose to fit a Utiliclip which immediately upgraded the knife from S.P.I.T to being a Tactical Wearable Any Task knife. Would recommend if you can find it on sale.
This is the best neck knife I've used to date and one that I reach for again and again. Great utility, very practical Wharncliffe blade pattern. Nice size blade for every day tasks. As long as you don't use it beyond its scope its brilliant. Great sheath retention, no issues when running cross country terrain. Barely noticeable in weight. Easy to sharpen and nice n slicey! Nice materials and well put together. You would be hard pushed to find a better neck knife in this price category. Would recommend this over the CRKT Minimalist range as the blade length is that much bigger and more useable.
