The Condor Travelhawk Axe fills a gap in equipment between hunters and countrymen.
The foundations of this innovative axe were laid in the German “Franziska” axe of the 6th century, the little Viking “Skeggöx” Beard Axe of the 8th century, the Inuit "Ulu"of the 19th century, and the need for a solid tool.
The advantages of the Condor Travelhawk are that it quickly dis-assembles into two parts. This makes it easy to stow and transport. The blade can be used without a handle as a knife for skinning or for the processing of game.
The wooden shaft is embedded in the axe blade from above. Due to the upward flare and conical blade eyelet, the axe head counteracts the centrifugal force, so that its grip becomes firmer with each stroke.
