The Condor Scotia Knife is Condor's take on the popular knives found in that region, with attention to a stouter handle and a Scandinavian grind.

This larger handle works well with mittens and is still nimble enough for an ungloved hand. The blade steel is 1095 with a high carbon content whilst the handle is Walnut wood. It is supplied with a brown leather sheath.

I like the style of the blade and it's comfortable in hand. Unfortunately the blade arrived rusty (from long storage) which was an easy fix with a rust eraser. The blade arrived blunt with a small bevel under the main scandi bevel, which shouldn't be on a scandi blade. I grinded the blade to become Scandinavian, which took a while. Now I have adjusted the blade, it is now very sharp. I would have returned it, but I saw something great in the making, despite the lack of quality control in El Salvador. I use the knife for cooking outdoors and indoors as it's thin, sharp and works well as a paring knife as well as a bushcraft knife.
