Description

The Condor Primitive Bush Knife is a Joe Flowers design that sits somewhere between bushcraft tool and experimental field blade. The full tang construction gives it strength, while the slim double-edged spear point blade makes it adept for wood splitting and general camp use. Condor have used their favoured 1075 high carbon steel with a blasted satin finish, easy to sharpen in the field and tough enough for hard outdoor work.

The handle is two-tone micarta, shaped for a secure grip even when wet, and fastened with brass rivets for a traditional look. It comes supplied with a hand-crafted leather sheath for belt carry. For those who like their outdoor tools with a slightly unconventional edge, this one is practical, strong and a bit different from the usual bushcraft fare.

    Condor Primitive Bush Fixed Blade

    Posted by N P Kelsall on 26th Oct 2025

A practical little knife. Chunky and strongly built it feels unbreakable and should last A lifetime. Very sharp on arrival and the blade steel should enable me to keep it that way as it is easily sharpened. Will probably rust over time if not kept oiled but that's a trade off for the excellence of the steel and easily prevented/ remedied. I am torn between 4 and 5 stars because although it comes with an excellent sheath it can only be used fastened to a belt and I want to keep it in a trousers pocket. I partially solved this problem by buying a plastic blade protector and cutting it down to fit the knife which works okay. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
