The Condor Pictus Knife was inspired by the Celtic culture. Taking motifs from Celtic knot work commonly found on ancient utensils, tools and tattoos Condor's Pictus knife uses similar designs on the handle and blade of this impressive fixed blade. In fact “Pictus” means painted and engraved.
The knife too echoes forms found in ancient cultures with a wide blade and smooth, wooden handle. The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel with a Scandi grind and sharp blade out of the box. The handle is Burnt American Hickory with red liners making for a nice visual impact.
The knife is supplied with a leather sheath with compartments for a sharpener and a fire steel.
