Lovely balance
The heavy handle and long blade work well together making this knife beautifully balance and nimble. It isn't optimised for chopping, but it does chop. It splits wood nicely and the long blade helps with battening. The edge holds up very well to heavy work, without chipping or folding. Only downside is the coating rubs off easily. I don't really like the colour anyway, kind of blue / grey, so to be it actually looks nicer a bit beat up. It has a nice usable tip too, ths is missing from a lot of knives at the moment, but I find a functional tip very useful. It's a good solid knife, and that quillon is never going to work loose.
