Carinthia Defence 4 Sleeping Bag

I am very pleased with the quality of this bag, has a very robust zip, it will compliment the Carinthia Bivy bag I also purchased from HH.......Recommended.

Ordered the 200 Version at 4:50pm and arrived 9am the next day! Quickest delivery even as standard. The sleeping bag oozes typical Carinthia quality and doesn't need much said about it other then its incredibly good for its size and weight when packed down inside a bergan. Dont be put off by what appears to be the tiny breathing hole the sleeping bag provides when fully zipped shut, its the right size when fully opened to allow your face to peek through but keep the rest of your head warm, not even claustrophobic! If you did get a little uncomfortable merely unzip, put your head ontop of where the hole should be and zip back up again and you get a snug fit and a pillow. 5/5 for quality. The 185cm Version which was far to snug for me (6ft1 Athletic build) Look forward to getting it out into the true low temperatures when I head North this winter for some trekking!

Had this bag for about a year now. It is a tiny bit bulky but not heavy. Comfortable and able space inside. Slept out in -10 temperatures and been fine. It is not very clear from the description but it is also waterproof to a degree. Slept out in a light shower and the bag stayed dry.

Recently used one of these at -5 overnight in Wales. Very comfortable and warm. Bit bulky but not heavy.

Had this for a few days now and have been testing it thoroughly and it's a great bag. It's quite large but there is a choice of sizes. I'm 6'4" and 16 stone and it's a great fit for me with plenty of shoulder room. The centre zip is very sturdy and will last forever with a nice smooth non snag action. The bag is incredibly well made and traps air which makes the bag loft well and therefore retain lots of warmth. It is the perfect bag for all bushcrafters and hammockers as the centre zip is a blessing. I love it and can see why the Norwegian army used them. Highly recommended and backed up with great service from HH as always.

Super fast delivery as usual (thanks guys). This is a big bag and by golly it's warm. Ive bought this for hammocking as the centre zip will be perfect for ease of entry/ exit whilst in the hammock. The bag seems very well made with a nice high quality zip that looks like it will last forever. It's a great fit for me at 6'4" and 16 stone. Sure the bag takes up quite a bit of my pack but it's worth is for the warmth. Looking forward to my next cold weather night out.
