Bank holiday weekend spent in west wales in comfort , have no doubt this bag would be suitable for really cold trips, perfect using in a hammock because of central zip, glad i read reviews before and some from Austrian forces gave me confidence. Bought bag quick service Bag made from quality materials but failed to keep me warm during 2 nights of camping in March UK. Temps well above freezing! !!!

Used in March uk & was very cold. Lack of neck baffle caused cold air to come into bag. Bags materials feel quality , the stuff sack is very strong & has plenty of straps. Very good zips no fear of snags , generous bag size. For anything 3 Celsius or below i think you would need to use bag in conjunction with carinthia summer bag tropen miss.

Have had a few bags in my time but none have compared to this! Extremely well made, tougher material than the others and a smooth zip. I wasn't to sure initially how i would get on with the face hole but no need to worry, if it gets cold enough your head goes in and you pull it tight. It keeps the moisture out and the warmth can be felt imediately. I can also confirm that to some degree the bag is water resistant, the rain just beaded off and i stayed dry and toasty. The only reason for me to get another bag is if i was off to the Arctic! Get one, you wont be dissapointed.

Spent cold night in bag.... Quality materials but no neck baffle to retain heat. I was sleeping on mat, wearing thermals & still cold .

Used on a wet and windy night in Scotland, kept me absolutely toasty all night. I was sleeping in a hammock so the centre zip was ideal. I'm 6"4 and the 230cm size was perfect, width is also good. Top marks for heinnie as well!

I was a lucky chap I was given one of these bags and top notch bit of kit have slept on the ground after my hammock Split on me lol with no biv mat and a cold night I lost no heat From it to the ground how meny bags could do that ? If you don't have one get one you won't be disapointed :)
