Traditional, convenient, and multi-purpose the Buck Trio is a classic pocket knife with three blade shapes; spey, sheepsfoot and clip-point.
All blades use 420J2 stainless steel which is a general-purpose steel well suited for routine applications, is easily sharpened, and offers a great blend of hardness and wear resistance.
They are also all under 7.6cm (3in) long and non-locking making it a UK friendly carry penknife.

First off I luckily bought these for someone else I have read reviews on these some very favourable! I personally was supprised at just how rough they were ? I own the USA made versions of these and I am really disappointed how bad the fit and finish is ! These are classic made in China knives of old ? Not a patch on Rough rider! The steel is 420j so not as good as the super 420 HC boss heat treated USA ones so I would say pay the extra and get the USA versions if you really want a buck stockman knife! Otherwise go for a rough rider at a lot less cash .... Best part of this purchase was the service from HH
I have had one of these for a few years and I love it!. the blades are very sharp out of the box and I didn't even have to strop them. its a nice thing knowing that you have three sharp blades so you don't worry too much about being away from your sharpening stones when out and about. the shape of the handle just feels so ergonomic and its unassuming non tactical style means I would feel more comfortable unfolding one of the smaller blades for use in public. very easy to sharpen and the back springs are decent, I have received several comments on my knife about how its attractive looks. I would replace mine in an instant if I lost it, don't be afraid of a quality Chinese made knife!
Pleased to see Buck's Trio offered by HH. This is a compact traditional pocket knife. At barely over 50 grams it is easy to carry in one's pocket. The usual three blade types associated with a Stockman pattern of this size provide excellent day to day versatility. The clip blade will easily handle a large apple, and the short sheepfoot blade is a good choice for tough little jobs. Yet I most often use the small pen blade for opening packages, post, and everyday little tasks which are so easily sorted with a handy little pocket knife. The build quality and attention to detail is very good. Buck's respected heat treatment translates into capable edges that are easy to maintain. Iv'e written quite a bit more about how this one and its big brother, the Buck Stockman, compare to their American counterparts, in the reviews for the Buck Stockman. So no need for repetitious praise here. The Trio is one of my favourites, and gets frequent pocket carry and quite a bit of use. It's been a DIY companion and a tough little user. And it knows it's way around fruit and veg in the kitchen. So, without hesitation, well recommend!
