Buck pursuit folder small
This is a very nice knife. It fits well in the hand with two choirs and a very forward gimping for more precise, delicate carving style cuts. The lock is very secure and I’ve never once felt worried or concerned that anything could flip open accidentally. The handle is a mixed media plastic with rubberised plastic in green and a pebble textured black, feels quite pleasant. It came out if the box already sharp and passed the paper cutting tests with ease. Cardboard also impressive including point work. Good cutting action on ivy and also good at stripping bark off both green and seasoned wood. I did some experimental feathering too and I’m confident this is a good whittling blade and also probably for fine cutting work in meat prep. This is an ideal companion knife for day to day tasking be it helping you with packaging or out doing some bushcraft. The sheath is very snug fitting, the only weak point being the press stud fastener which I can see isn’t going to last. Only other minor nitpicks are the pricing as it’s a darn sight cheaper stateside but then it is an import so there’s that. The lanyard hole is also rather small, other than those minor points it’s a great product.
