Description

Brisa are a Finnish company who know a thing or two about decent blades! All their knives come from a background where your knife is your best buddy and a tool that is going to keep you alive in the wilds.

The Brisa Trapper 95 is a quintessential bushcraft knife perfectly balanced for all manner of outdoor tasks from food prep to fire lighting. This version has a flat grind with tough micarta weather and work resistant handle scales. The blade is N690Co stainless steel sharpened to a hair splitting level. It extends the length of the knife in a full tang form giving extraordinary strength. A brass ring lined lanyard hole means you can make the knife your own with a lanyard of your choice.

    95 Flat N690

Posted by Tricky on 22nd Oct 2024

Had this for over a decade and it's had a lot of use. The micarta handle is very nice and feels good in the hand, no hotspots with use. The N690 keeps a good edge and is easy to sharpen. The blade is a good all rounder, good with wood and game processing. It comes with a good leather sheath. The only slightly annoying thing about it is the pointy metal finger guard, you think it will cut into your fingers when you're using it but you never do, I don't know how but you don't, it's fine. All round a very good bit of kit.
