Blade Features:
The blade of the Bushmate 2.0 is crafted from durable carbon steel 1066, renowned for its outstanding edge retention and robustness. Designed with a Scandi grind, this type of sharpening is especially suited for the tasks encountered in bushcraft, providing superior slicing capabilities that allow you to tackle various cutting tasks with ease. With a thickness of 3 mm (0.12 in), the blade strikes the perfect balance between precision and durability, ensuring it can handle tough outdoor challenges while maintaining sharpness throughout its use. Whether you’re carving, whittling, or preparing kindling, the Bushmate 2.0 is designed to perform excellently in any bushcraft scenario.
Handle Details:
The handle is crafted from walnut wood, treated with Danish oil to enhance its natural beauty and protect it from the elements. This thoughtful design provides secure grip, allowing for extended use. Whether you’re carving, slicing, or performing detailed tasks, the handle’s design ensures you have full control and comfort during long days in the wild.
Included Accessories:
The Bushmate 2.0 comes complete with a handmade leather sheath, carefully stitched with strong nylon thread for added durability. This sheath not only protects the blade but also enhances the knife’s aesthetic appeal. I don't know how bps are making any money making these. This knife would have been a huge bargain 10 years ago. DBK have designed a great knife and BPS have brought it home. Budget in price but not in quality. Highly recommend.
Excellent knife for the money razor sharp sparks well on a ferro rod a good workhorse for bushcraft
Very happy with my bushmate 2.0 Well worth the money. Ordered Friday morning turned up Saturday morning. If your looking to buy one do it! For the price you can’t be disappointed.
Top quality knife for not a lot of money. Bps sure know how to bring great value to the table. Great fit and finish. The only thing I wish is the handle scales were pinned in place rather than the screw pins they have.
I bought the first bushmate and liked the knife but sheath was bad design.....have now bought bushmate 2 the knife has screws rather than pins and the sheath is top notch.....a great budget knife
