Boker Plus XS Heinnie® Edition Folding Knife 18

Arrived reasonably quickly in regional Western Australia. Item as described and seems well constructed and factory sharp. Excellent design. Would have saved me quite a bit if I had just bought this knife first as it ticks all the necessary boxes, being a very strong back spring (even compared to Manly Wasp), great, finger choil and nice and slicey with the tall blade nicely thinned out behind the edge. 440C not my first choice, but do prefer it being stainless over D2 and happy with price. Weight at 111g quite a bit more than Manly Wasp at 80g, but not enough of an issue to drop a Star.

great price and a great knife

Came nice and sharp and as always quick delivery. Nice sturdy knife, inspires confidence due to finger choil and larger than average handle for a UK legal knife. Severely let down by pocket clip, however I’ve discovered that aftermarket benchmade clips fit very well. I’ve now fitted a titanium deep carry clip with cost less than £4 from your favourite Chinese internet seller, much improved.

I've been trying to find an alternative to carrying my Leatherman Rebar as I understand it is illegal to carry unless for work so it now sits on the belt of my DIY/Working trousers which are the kind with holster pockets to carry screws and tools etc. I settled on a Leatherman Style PS to replace the pliers and wire cutters part of the Rebar, which has no locking tools and no knife so a legal carry. But as it has no knife and I still often need a knife to cut things and feel naked without one and a folding Stanley knife is no good as it locks I was in a predicament. But this Boker Plus XS folding knife with Drop point is perfect for the job. The fairly stiff closing mechanism and protective choyle is a great safety feature in the absence of a lock and it cuts meat at the BBQ great as well as cuts open boxes and packaging material and will allow sharpening pencils when I need to mark wood for cutting too. Great purchase, great price so thanks. Also love the HENNIE red colour. Highly recommended.

This tool feels great in hand I was concerned that it would feel a little small but it just seems to fit like a glove I do not have small hands. It feels well made it dose not feel like I could use it to leave a door open but then it’s not made for that it certainly does feel it’s more than capable of cutting the Blade seems keen is yet to have had any real abuse maybe update this review after a few months of daily use and see how it goes overall happy with it start with wasn’t over keen on red as a color that doesn’t really matter it cuts and that’s all it’s made to do

Very solid well made knife, one handed opening and a very positive click on opening legal blade but design and broad blade make it look bigger. Notch for finger when open secures blade nicely, nice textured handle which is a pleasure to use, this knife should handle most tasks for years.
