Add to BasketI don't bother with anything other than UK legal knives. This is a big, solid, heavyweight in the UK legal world. I prefer a slightly smaller knife for EDC (Byrd Tern/Spyderco Squeak) but if I need something for tougher jobs then this is what I use. Terrific grip with a good choil. If you have small hands then this may not be for you. Overall it's a brilliant larger legal pocket knife that will deal with anything I need a knife for.
High praise for this one. Very well designed and made. I wanted a knife that I could carry at all times, yet be tough enough for country use. The forward choil makes it safer to use and prevent unintentional blade closure. It also helps one get a better grip when dealing with tougher tasks. I'm very happy with my purchase.

A beautifully manufactured, well designed knife, that feels well balanced and instills confidence in use.... however- it’s at the very limit of UK legal, and as an EDC, pulled out of the pocket for a simple small task and single hand deployed- it’s liable to freak out any bystander. Stick to a SAK or a traditional Sheffield lambfoot unless your everyday use includes gutting a deer? Even then a small single blade will do the job... this isn’t a ‘city pocketknife’.

The clip doesn’t get in the way when gripping the knife and is adjustable for right or left hand use. Decided to give this EDC a go after reading numerous reviews I have to say I'm not a fan of non locking blades been a "work user" and a couple of nasty accidents involving non lockers but in this current climate though id look again. I've used it every day for over a week and to say I'm impressed, quality build, razor sharp out the box ,smooth one hand opening with positive lock out, pocket clip and it's best feature finger cut out to stop it closing and causing a mischief! So impressed was my work friend and colleague that I was asked to order one once available with that he consigned his Openel to the bottom of the tool box! Top work Hennie guys.
Great service as always. This knife only arrived today some don't have any working time with it but great build quality and feels good in hand I'm sure this will be my edc from now on just wish we could carry a lock knife so much safer, I'm sure the people that make the laws don't live in the real world. But being someone who uses sharp and potentially dangerous tools and knives every day this one im sure will be one of the best options to carry without breaking the law here in the UK
