In addition to the flat gripping surface, the pliers are also have a so-called burner hole for gripping hexagon head screws, union nuts and pipes. The tools housed in the two halves of the handle open smoothly and can be used particularly safely thanks to the reliable locking mechanism.

With others falling over themselves to increase the tool count this tool has a moderate, but well thought out selection of tools. The ergonomics are excellent and the tool is incredibly well made. It comes with a good pocket clip and a strong pouch. Overall this is the best value for money multitool I own, and even bought a second one as a gift for someone looking for a good multitool.
Great handy tool , very useful and practical
A very well put together multitool that has most of what you will ever need. The knife holds a very sharp edge and I've found the pliers to be very grippy. All in all, very good value that I think will last quite a while.
An excellent piece of kit, well worth the money, a minor point on a personal level I did find the springs a trifle heavy
Service from HH as ever was faultless fast and secure how ever as for the multi tool it’s packaging was flash and a very good sheath however it has to be as the tool weighs a ton is blunt out of the box, virtually impossible to get the blade out and lose omg it rattles like I’ve had it 30 years avoid at all costs pay the extra
At this price you probably won’t get a better tool. Perfect around the garden as doesn’t have all the bits I won’t need I certainly don’t have a horse and wouldn’t need to get anything from his hooves
Mine arrived this morning and, to be honest, I wasn't particularly impressed. Very nice packaging and decent sheath. But a little light on tools, the blade wasn't very sharp (and doesn't have sufficient retention to keep it in the handle IMHO - the locking blade pokes out if you shake it); the saw is a little coarse and the other (non locking) tools are fairly limited and way far too difficult to get out against their: slip joint back springs. Real fingernail breakers. The plier head is ok (removable cutters) but - when closed - the handles are very loosie-goosy. Not inspiring. As a £20 tool I'd think it ok as a beater. As a £36 tool I think I've paid the sixteen quid extra for very nice packaging and a rather good sheath. Just my opinion: YMMV.
