Description

The Boker Plus Rocket has been a firm favourite of knife fans for a while now and with good reason. It is a handsome little knife with a great deal of character and even more usability.

This brand new version has had the Heinnie Haynes® treatment, which means it has the famous red handle, is non-locking so UK legal carry, is numbered on the back spine and has the Heinnie® 'H' on the back of the handle. Everything else is the same, compact, "unputdownable" design and a gap for a neck chain or lanyard.

The knives are individually numbered, but we're not able to pick out a particular number for you, sorry.

    Keyring Companion

Posted by If It's Not Industrial, It's Broken on 10th Jun 2022

By the numbers, in no particular order. 1: A very neat bit of kit, few niggles, so 4 stars. 2: Sharp. 3: Like the design but a tad "Uncomfortable" to grasp 4: Mine the final grind edge is not straight, it had gone a bit off and angles at the tip, that said its going to happen with use so no real issues. 5: BIG BOX but its a nice box. 6: Service key provided, thumbs up there. 7: Good snap in to position no loose action. 8: Definitely a right handed open, awkward for a lefty. 9: Well made if not a bit " Industrial " & I like that 10: Good value. HH Service at it's best.

The most used EDC ever !

Posted by Moth on 17th May 2022

At just over an inch long this is a perfect edc. Mine I have had for over a year or two now. It gets so much use being on my car keys and isn't too in the way on there. In use several times a day as its always to hand. Sharpens up ok and quickly but its no super steel ! So blunts off quickly. The side plate fell off of mine after a year of use a d abuse. Would recommend taking out the screws and then putting them back in with an accompanying squirt of locktite. This is the only problem I've had with prolonged use, as the screws are tiny and will probably need an email to Boker to get more.

great little EDC..once you've messed with it...!

Posted by Dan on 26th Apr 2022

It's a really nice design- very minimalistic, but useful little EDC. Mine arrived with a LOT of blade play, though... So much that I didn't carry it much (also, the blade made contact with the 90 degree part of the liner when closed- also due to the pivot not being tight enough). Then I took the plunge and attempted to tighten the pivot screw, which required securing both sides of the pivot pin (I just used a couple of flat head drivers). Once I'd nipped the pivot up, there was no wobble, and the blade no longer touched the back of the liner. Not really enough of a faff to knock a star off the overall score, and now it's a perfect little pocket knife that sits in the watch pocket of your jeans perfectly! For the money, it's great! HH service, as ever, perfect...!
