Excellent Pen, Refills Recommended Didn't Fit
This weighs well in the hand and feels solidly build. The balance is good and it writes smoothly. I certainly recommend it as a stylish EDC writing instrument. It comes supplied with what looks like a Schmidt G2-style "Parker compatible" refill. Boker Plus say that when needed it can be replaced by a Fisher Spacepen refill. However I couldn't fit a Spacepen refill inside the Titanium Multi-Purpose Pen. The Spacepen has a raised section at the base of the thin part supporting the nib that is 3mm longer than a normal G2-spec refill like the Schmidt. The internal tolerances inside my Titanium MPP are so fine that a Spacepen refill won't go far enough into the barrel to expose the nib. Luckily help is at hand: the Schmidt P950M Megaline Pressurised Ballpoint Pen Refill is a G2-spec refill that also has air pressure technology that allows it to write upside down, in zero-gravity, in extreme high or low temperatures and on difficult surfaces. It, too, has virtually unlimited shelf life. I can confirm that in my copy of the Titanium MPP the P950M fits and writes as well, perhaps even better than the Fisher Spacepen refill. It's less than half the price too.
