Boker Kiho 2.0
Very nice, just in the door really. Super fast shipping, excellent service as always at Heinne. I haven't really put it to work yet but but it's not left my hand since it was taken out of the package.

The American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley, embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon with the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC. The features and straightforward design are evidence of its high practicality and give the knife with the decisive price-performance advantage an ideal basis for everyday cutting tasks. The satinised drop-point blade made of D2 opens smoothly thanks to the ball bearings over the removable thumb stud, while the crossbar lock guarantees intuitive, safe and practical unlocking of the knife. The 2.0 versions of the popular model are also suitable as a lightweight full-size EDC thanks to the 15% weight reduction. The non-slip handle with texturised squares is made of high-strength GFN and sits comfortably in the hand. Blue anodised rings around the blade pivot screw and the large handle screw give the Kihon a fine touch. Supplied with a lanyard hole and a convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carrying options.

I already had the original Kihon with the orange insert in the pivot and was very impressed so wanted to see what the 2.0 was like. And I am equally impressed. It's a tiny bit bigger and a fraction lighter with a smoother action. Otherwise much the same: an excellent and very sharp daggery D2 blade, comfortable glass nylon handles and a very good AXIS style lock. All in a fairly big and solid knife. This isone of the best value larger larger folders out there in my opinion, frankly a bargain for the quality.
