Reliable, tough and with a lot of outdoor in its blood: The Boker Bronco Mini embodies a well-balanced compactness with maximum adventurousness. As a smaller version of the much-cited Boker Bronco, this striking bushcraft knife creates unforgettable moments away from everyday life, from the first breath in the clear morning dew to the crackling campfire in the middle of untouched nature.

The drop-point blade with high-set Saber grind is made of 80CrV2 stainless steel, which combines robustness, edge retention and shock resilience in an uncompromising way. Cutting, carving and even chopping form the unmistakable comfort zone of the outdoor knife. The zest for action is underlined by the blade's gritty black stonewash finish, which gives the fixed blade knife an unmistakable used look. For maximum stability, the tang is full length and protrudes a few millimetres from the end of the handle, so that it can easily withstand even powerful blows with round timber.

A short section of the back of the blade forms sharp 90-degree edges on both sides for striking sparks from your fire starter. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) was chosen as the handle material, which completely encloses the tang and has a grippy texture. TPE is resistant, elastic, non-slip and has low heat conductivity. This means gentle and safe handling with a perfect grip under all weather and working conditions. The Bronco Mini's natural refuge includes the custom fit Kydex sheath with a clip for safe storage. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.

    Boker Bronco Mini

Posted by Chris on 1st Oct 2024

For those of you that appreciate the unboxing of a new piece of gear , this will not disappoint, it’s packaged wonderfully. This is an exceptional camp knife, carving wood and preparing food is what this blade profile screams to me. I have size XL hands so at first the handle feels almost too slim but nowadays I usually don gloves when I’m whittling so it fits just fine. And when cooking it feels rather like a quality kitchen knife. The blade is a thing of beauty to look at and it’s very light. I’ve added a loop of glow in the dark guy line to the lanyard hole to hopefully prevent me from loosing it. The sheath has great retention, the thumb push is bold , almost too big for the size of the knife, the belt clip is really good quality. This is an all round excellent product, thank you HH..

Even the packaging gives a good first impression. It ensures the knife looks good in the box, it's the third Solingen knife that's come like this. I wish I could afford more. This is not a 'mini' knife, the handle is more than big enough for my hands, there's plenty of blade in all dimensions with an attractive finish. There is a nicely ground edge for striking ferrocerium rods as well. The Kydex sheath is very similar to the one found on the Vigtig vs. Wild and fits the knife perfectly, it also has the same minimalist belt clip. This knife is going to be a firm favourite.

Wasn't disappointed with the knife and don't believe you would be either, nice in the hand and a working sheath that does what it should
