This stunning version, the Benchmade 535BK-4 Bugout uses a grey 6061-T6 aluminium handle in combination with a black coated M390 stainless blade. I do love this knife, it's almost everything I expected, light and fits very well in the hand, it's put up to some very hard use without the need for a resharpen, a couple of downsides it wasn't as sharp out of the box as I would have liked for the price and when I took the pocket clip off noticed there was damage to one of the scales where a screw had been put in at an angle and bored into the aluminium scale, which was super disappointing, I always want to be the first person to mess up my knives. Not a slight on Hennie as their service has been amazing, always super fast dispatch and well packaged.

This is a beautiful knife. The aluminium scales have a matt finish, so are not remotely garish . The red accents simply add to the elegance. I have read elsewhere that this is a "fashion statement" knife. I would disagree. It is a statement knife. It is slim in form factor. The action is clean, and mine arrived sharp with an even grind on both sides. The blade is also perfectly centered. It's a fantastic pocket folder.
