Very disappointed in Benchmade. Terrible action. Had to dismantle, polish washers, found grit in the action. Used nano oil and now all ok.

As a result of overwhelming customer feedback, the Benchmade Bugout has been scaled down in the form of the 533 Mini Bugout.
The Mini Bugout maintains the same material configuration as its full-sized counterparts in a 42g Carbon Fibre package. With a closed length of 9.3cm, this ultralight folder is small enough for a survival tin, yet big enough for adventure. This version has a stonewash blade combined with a stunning Carbon Fibre handle. Plus in contrast the blue anodised thumb stud and back spine spacer/lanyard hole provide a very appealing look. And of course the AXIS lock is there to keep your fingers safe!

Absolutely brilliant quality and lightweight. Ive bought many knives in my time and this is the best by far
Extremely light and well made, easily opened one handed with a smooth motion and small enough to have in your pocket without being too bulky!
Very pleased with my purchase, superb fit & finish so lightweight great steel, and could be the perfect EDC if the UK didn't have such stupid knife laws, still, I'll take my chance and still, pocket carry the knife.
First Benchmade knife I have owned so impressed with the opening and locking mechanism. Never thought I'd enthuse about a knifes handle but the carbon fibre scales are really impressive, whether you feel it's worth the extra cash is down to personal choice. Not quite as sharp as Spyderco knifes out of the box but seems like it should last a lifetime.
