    Mini Adamas

Posted by Lee D on 10th Apr 2024

I've wanted one of these since they were released. It is as good as it looks, pretty and purposeful, but not too big. Following on from Malcolm, yes you can open the blade pretty easily with a flick of the wrist without operating the Axis lock. Benchmade knives are quite "fidgety" so this hasn't worried me much but I will be careful now I know this is possible. My knife centres perfectly and has no play in any direction. I am very happy with it, it will fit into my collection very nicely. Thanks to HH for getting this in and over to me so quickly.

    Mini Adamus CF

A great piece out of the box BUT after spending a bit of time with this piece there are two major flaws: 1. Blade can be opened by wrist flick alone ie without pulling back 9n the axis lock spring. Serious no-no. 2. There is a tiny bit of play when open (always); on the vertical axis only. Again, not good. Everything else is very nice. A disappointment overall.
