Disappointing
As usual, absolutely no dramas with the glorious Mecca of knives that is Heinnie, but the blade itself is a figuratively massive let-down. The tang is slightly oversized compared to the handle and I can't figure out if this is deliberate, the handle itself if blocky and uncomfortable, the sheath is flimsy and awkward, and the blade isn't very sharp. With a bit of work re-profiling and honing the edge plus some sandpaper on the handle, this will probably become a perfectly usable knife, but definitely not worth the ludicrous price tag from Benchmade.
