Add to Basketsolid build with a shallow scandi grind but it says its a hollow on the specs, the tip is however a hollow and can bend a bit if you stick it in a log, the sheath is not good the leather is flimsy and the knife sits super loose, however the knife itself is very good and i am pleased with it, also the attachable Gard is very nice
I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by this knife, don't get me wrong it is rather crude, it's a straightforward no nonsense design, clearly made to be used as a tool not a showpiece. the few gripes I have about it is the leather sheath supplied leaves a lot to be desired but then again is adequate for a tool, the grind lines are a tad iffy on one side, but as a knife meant to be used and abused and not really cared for I don't take much of an issue with, the knife is supplied with a guard which was a lovely addition, simply remove the scales and slide it on, came nicely sharp enough to pop a few hairs. this blade will be my travel companion for my journeys through Eastern Europe and the Balkan states, I have no doubt that it will fulfil its role and be a reliable companion. Can't fault Heinnie for their outstanding service and delivery time, my go to supplier of knives.
