Baladeo Papagayo Granadilla Folding Knife

Disappointing, it has a very soft spring and a strange grating sensation at the half stop mark. Having said that it locks open firmly and there's only slight blade play and the blade was sharp ootb. Maybe I'm being unfair as I haven't used it yet, hope so

i've recently got back into slipjoints, and this example punches above it's price range. nicely sized with a slim blade stock that is still hollow ground and sharpens well. It's the sort of nonthreatening utilitarian pocket knife your granddad used to carry. It glides through apples, paper, card, string, all the assorted light uses its made for. and looks good doing it, the wooden scales really setting it off. recommended

Really nicely weighted and constructed knife. Very sturdy feel. Downside is the torx screws. They loosen over time as the knife is used, and I've ultimately lost one after a couple of weeks use. Maybe Loctite them if you buy one...

If you are on a budget then buy this knife. There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said in the other reviews. I bought it on the strength of those reviews and was not disappointed. It's under £20, well made and gorgeous. What more do you need.

I really like this knife, it has a certain tactile quality about it, the shape when closed and the wooden scales that make you want to pick it up and handle it. Out of the box it was very sharp and the blade is a good shape for cutting tasks and the whole knife is sturdy. One of my favourite knives. Hennies of course are amazing, the delivery is super fast the service is second to none, and the excellent manager Richard is always on the other end of the phone in the event that you need any knowledgeable advice. The best knife and related gear supplies in the country in my opinion, even their website is excellent.

The knife arrived promptly, however I found it was missing a torx head screw. I contacted Heinnie Haynes, who responded very quickly and my item was replaced. The replacement knife was totally fine, arrived sharp and I have to say it feels like it is worth more than the price tag.

seeing the price I was doubtful if this would be any good however I was really happy with it when it arrived. The knife is very sharp, has a good build quality and feels nice in the hand. The wooden scales are really nicely designed and all in all as a uk friendly knife for under £20 I can't recommend it enough.
