    ARTHUR WRIGHT LAMBSFOOT EBONY

Posted by Ian Rosie on 9th Aug 2023

I spoke too soon in my previous comment. Backspring snapped after some very light use rendering the knife unusable. From notifying Heinnie Haynes, to receiving a refund from them, was two months. Not a fun experience.

    ARTHUR WRIGHT LAMBSFOOT EBONY

Posted by Ian on 29th Dec 2022

The bad - Small chips of ebony missing around three pins. Scuffs to spine, ricasso, bolster and spring. Dirty slipjoint mechanism. Meh - Yep, it has no Arthur Wright stamp. Spinal Tap/childproof levels of pull (that's 11). The good - Smooth transitions throughout. Gapping is very good with only a slight one requiring a torch to spot it. Materials used are good. It has an even cutting edge, albeit quite toothy. Will I be sending it back? Nope.
