    Cheap & Nasty

A weak and insubstantial blade, the point of which did not survive a short fall onto a wooden desk!

    ANTONINI SILICIANO

Posted by John Burgess on 29th Dec 2020

What a useful knife. Bought because my wife objects to me using my pocket-knife as a paring knife in the kitchen. It is very sharp and just the right length for utility use . I am very tempted to order some more because they're such good value, but will browse through the catalogue later. REALLY PLEASED

    Very Nice

Posted by The Payne on 26th Dec 2020

Generally very pleased with the knife. For an EDC, it seems quite large, maybe because it it quite slender. Nice finish, and sharp enough out of the box for most tasks that people would ask of it. The only disappointment was when I used the knife tip to try to prize open a batter compartment on one of my kids toys after removing the screw. The tip bent under very light pressure. Not what it was designed to do, so no major criticism, just disappointed it didn't put up a stronger fight. Other than that, superb.

    Good

Posted by Gavin on 29th Nov 2020

The only reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is because I felt a bit of oil brought the thing to life as in the handle and it washed out a bit of dust/dirt. It's as nice as you're expecting it to be. The slip joint is one of the toughest I've ever felt and it looks good with its thin, straight pencil look (it's thicker than a pencil) and the bonus being that it's UK legal. A happy addition to my UK legal collection.

Good basic Old World pocket knife!

Posted by Stevo on 18th Nov 2020

Slim and light, perfect for many tasks including kitchen use. For the modest price the Siciliano offers robust construction in a slender design. The back spring is stout, with a firm half stop that makes the blade snap to attention at 90 degrees. Make sure all your digits are out of the way. Had a mishap with a beautifully sharp Case Mini Trapper several years ago involving the blade having a half stop and careless handling. Amusing to recall now. Not so much then. But this one is charmingly rustic, and an excellent value. Delivery was quicker than a bunny. Thank you, HH.

    Decent little folder

Posted by Londinium Armoury on 21st Aug 2020

I have a few Antonini slipjoints now this is one of my favs, basic little rustic folder, Antonini knives don't come razor sharp but I won't take a star off for that. Just a few strokes on a simple ceramic rod system and it's up to hair shaving sharp. It's nice, I measured it and this is UK legal, I carry mine from time to time, it gets a bit of regular pocket time, nice thin blade grind for cutting fruit etc.

    Nice

Comfortable, sharp.,Strong spring holds blade securely. As big as you’re allowed for EDC. Wooden scales are smooth and well finished. Loses a star for small amount of lateral blade play but acceptable for price.. Possibly capable of raising a constabulorial eyebrow as it looks a bit pointy at first glance but it’s small enough - just - to keep the notebook closed.

    Fantastic folder

Posted by Peter on 25th Feb 2020

This is a very very sharp folder it is a bit stiff to open and close but it inspires confidence that it won't fold on your hand
