The design, working with the shape of a gentle pebble, gives the Acta Non Verba Z070 DLC slipjoint a reassuring simplicity and purity. There's no extra on the new Z070NEO, Acta are working with the very basic form of a folding knife.

Despite being taken to the edge of absolute minimalism, the new NEO is great to hold, safe to use and legal in most countries around the world.

Z070NEO's Swedish Sleipner steel blade is cryogenically hardened to 60 HRC and DLC coated for maximum durability and a sleek appearance. Acta have made the handle of this little sidekick from GRNP polymer, giving it a clean look, a soft-touch surface for a comfortable grip, and a light weight.

The overall length of the new NEO is 155mm, with the blade being only 55mm. Weighing in at 65g, the NEO is a hassle-free EDC, both in your pocket and in your purse or backpack. With subtle touches of mint and pink, you can match the NEO to your latest iPhone or opt for a conservative black and let the 070 blend in with its surroundings on your desk.

Simplicity and Minimalism with modern looks

Posted by Bjorn Torsten on 2nd Nov 2024

As a UK legal carry knife it offers something special and different, Acta Non Verba are a rising star and now I feel like I will buy more of these knives in the future. I always had Gerber, Smith and Wesson and Buck but it’s time for a change. The knife if lighter than I thought which is good for an EDC it has a little bit of a matt texture to avoid slipping, the proportions are good for my large hands, the lock Mechnic of the blade is more of a click like a ball point pen, but friction based against a bearing of some sort so it’s positive enough not to unlock and yet unlocks with little force, just a good balance to the lock. The ergonomics are great, and I assume you could maybe put on a lanyard if you utilise the hole of the blade spindle. Blade is razor sharp out the box and has a nice presentation box and card in two languages Czech and English. It’s a very different feeling knife than the American stuff and I think k this is an advantage not a disadvantage. I like that there is no hype around the knife and that’s it’s just a great solid contender. It’s nice to be different and the direction that ANV ones are taking is great! I see this as my new favourite brand.
