5.11 Performance Polo Short Sleeve

Bought one of these together with a Helikon-Tex UTL Polo for comparison. Have to say, although I'm a big fan of 5.11 kit, this one didn't do it for me. The way the polo is cut over the shoulders makes the fit a bit strange and the mic 'pockets' on the front of the shoulders don't help. Medium size was very long too..........ok if it's tucked in but looks a bit odd if not. Nice material and made well but to be honest........save yourself a fiver and buy the Helikon-Tex polo.

Really good Polo for the money. Nice feeling synthetic fabric, several 'tactical' features that set it apart from your normal 'fashion' type polo shirt. Comfortable and looks smart! Excellent service from HH.

The quality of these shirts is exceptional. Feels very nice on the skin and very comfortable to wear. The fact that they wick water away from you and dry fast is a great thing regardless of what the weather is. I exclusively wear polo shirts almost 99% of the time and usually cheap ones. I have had more shirts shrink, fade and snag on velcro from my pouches that they all look terrible. However... These 5.11 shirts have special technology in them to prevent wrinkling, fading, shrinking, snagging/bobbling to go along with the other features like water wicking, fast drying etc. If you want to see a demo from the 5.11 people search youtube for "5.11 Tactical Polos" and you will find their video, ironically a 5:11 length video. If you are not convinced by my high praise of these shirts then watch their promotional video demonstration and I guarantee you will be buying these shirts from Heinnie. Seriously, if you are here looking, then you're clearly are into polo shirts and these ones will top every other polo shirt you have ever owned for both comfort and functionality. Gradually I am buying only these 5.11 shirts to phase out my old rubbish shirts. This polo is very comfortable, despite the synthetic fabric. It does not feel cheap and so far it keeps its promises (no wrinkling etc). These polos are very generously sized. I am 6.2" with size 44-46 (EU 54-56) for a suit and I bought a large. It still is enough lengthy and especially wide. Much wider than any other brand. I bought an XL for my brother who is 4" taller and even that size was quite big. If you want a tight fit, you can use the above figures as a reference. I hope there will be more colours to choose from soon.
