trigalight® are small, airtight sealed glass tubes coated on the inside with a luminous substance. The coating is “fired” with electrons emitted by the tritium gas which causes the layer to light up. All encased in a tough stainless steel container.

Great product

An excellent item. Compact but bright. Much better than similar items thst require charging. I have the green one and its bright enough to be seen without illumimating the general area. I have ordered a green and pink due to the quality and functionality.

Disappointing

Ok, so I should have read the description properly, but these are tiny. Don't get me wrong, tiny is usually good, but the light vial inside is minuscule and gives out a paltry amount of light. Drop this in grass at night & you have no chance of seeing it. I have other tritium markers with bigger vials which are way more effective. On a plus note, it does seem to be sturdily made & HH service was top class as usual.

I bought several of these as markers for essential items of kit, and for my key-chain, in order to make them easier to spot if dropped in the dark. They're very small and compact, and appear to be well-made. They don't really glow at all, but are visible in the dark, whether they've previously been exposed to light or not. I can think of loads of uses for these markers, and at £11, the price isn't too steep.
