I own quite a few of these now. The ones I have were part of the knife packages and I've not purchased any individually. I've got them attached to most of my outdoor jackets and bags. Obviously you never know if you're going to need to summon help when venturing out of doors. This whistle is in constant use as a dog whistle. I don't know what it is about the thing. Tone - I believe it has 3- or what but our dogs respond to it better than anything else we've ever used.
Addition to previous review. A full 5/5
Just bought a pack of five whistles, the first one out of the pack did not work properly so I tried the other four all screamingly loud but the bad one is, probably less than a quarter the volume of the others. As I am an engineer I am at a loss to understand why. As Usual a big thank you to HH for their amazing service. I shall investigate the whistle and if I find an obvious problem I will post the answer.
