Description

Why change something if it works? Because Spyderco practice the principle of C.Q.I. - Constant Quality Improvement. If they can refine and improve the ergonomics or cutting performance of an established model, they do it.

The Spyderco Para Military 2 has several changes over the classic version. The G-10 handle is narrowed at the end improving the ergonomics. The handle and blade have been profiled thinner; removing uncomfortable angles when in the closed position. It features a Compression Lock and an ambidextrous-friendly four way clip which carries tip-up/tip-down, left/right-hand and rests deeper in a pocket. Spyderco kept the same high-performance CPM-S45VN full flat-ground blade but they have also lengthened the blade’s tip and added additional surface jimping to both the spine and finger choil. Implementation of a new Bushing Pivot System generates fluid action and more consistent manufacturing tolerances. Larger lanyard gives more options for carry.

Refinements to overall construction may not be drastic or even visible to the eye but from the G-10 textured handle to the CPM-S45V steel full flat blade, everything is sharper, smoother and guaranteed to provide performance and user comfort.

    It is a pleasure.

Posted by Faruk on 3rd Feb 2017

I am glad I bought this knife. I use it for simple tasks any cheap knife can accomplish, but having quality knifes gives me pleasure. I would like to thank Heinnie for making this products available for us for a fair price. I am willing to pay for a high quality product, but if I see that it is double the price of US market, it really repels me from the product and the seller. I am happy with Heinnie, I am happy with Paramilitary 2.

A CLASSIC WELL WORTHY OF ALL THE PRAISE

    Posted by GRANT.E on 27th Jan 2017

I WAS MESSING AROUND WITH ALL MY COLLECTION THE OTHER NIGHT WHICH VARIES HUGELY FROM EDC TO SURVIVAL WITH ALL DIFFERENT BRANDS AND APPROX 40 DIFFERENT BLADE STEELS. MY LARGEST SELECTION IN ONE BRAND IS 'SPYDERCO' ....NO SUPRISES, LOVE EM ALL ,BUT THERE ARE TWO KNIVES THAT 80% OF THE TIME ARE IN MY EDC ROTATION, THEY ARE THE DOMINO AND OF COURSE THE PARA. IVE HAD MINE APPROX 13 MONTH AND OK IVE HAD TO SHARPEN IT A COUPLE OF TIMES , BAR THAT ITS STILL LIKE NEW. FLIES OPEN, WITH ANY FINGER BAR MY LITTLE ONE,ABSOLUTELY SOLID STILL,S30V HOLDS UP REALLY WELL AND EASY ENOUGH TO SHARPEN, IT REALLY IS A BELTING KNIFE INFACT ANYBODY WHO HASNT GOT ONE YET AT THE PRICE AT THE MOMENT SHOULD DIVE ON IT. I GOT THE S110V VERSION , AGAIN BRILLIANT, JUST DO WITH A C/F VERSION WITH M390 OR LIKE ..ANYWAY EXCELLENT KNIFE ,ALL THE BEST ALL.

    WOW

First of all i didn't by my PM2, i was fortunate enough to win it in a Spyderco photo competition. It really is as good as its reputation, such a solid knife yet can do such intricate work. The locking mechanism is just so addictive to play with. S30V steel is one of my favourites & the heat treatment is just right.

    Lovely knife!

Posted by MARK on 7th Sep 2016

Well even after reading loads of positive reviews on the net I still wasn't sure about this knife, simply because the liners are nested and being a bit OCD I like to see the liners or else I think the knive looks cheap....some of you will understand where I'm coming from with that? Anyway, I gave in and bought one for my growing spydy collection and I am so glad I pulled the trigger and believe me the hundreds of reviews were right all along , the PM 2 is an amazing knife! Everything about the PM 2 oozes quality from the superb blade with its superb steel to the awesome most gripiest G10 scales and not forgetting the amazing compression lock which allows the knife to be opened very fast ( be carfull if a police officer asks you to open this one...he might think you are carrying a f* knife...yes it's that fast!) all in all this is just a world class folder and probably THE best production line folder in the world! Pull the trigger on one today and forget the hang ups about the nested liners, you won't regret it! Oh, one more thing, HH are the best in the business and Nick and his team really deserve your custom so please buy from these guys you really will be impressed with the service!!

    Awesomtacular

Posted by Chris on 8th Jun 2016

Well... I used to hate spyderco... Overpriced, hyped, silly blades, not very thick... So coming into some cash, and looking at a decent camp companion, people wouldn't shut up about the PM2, so what the hell. I'll try not to bore you... I love it. I'm a convert. Screw you spyderco! Manix 2, get in my pocket... The PM is light, controllable, agile, sharp, tough and we'll made. The blade isn't thick, but that means you don't try and over abuse it. Just buy one.

    PARAWOWA!!!!

    Posted by GRANT.E on 10th Dec 2015

My first Spyderco, never really appealed that much ,i think they just came across as a bit common. Couldn't of been more wrong, obviously there popular for a reason, wow!!. Mine arrived today,THANX AGAIN H.H, I've had the black G10 scales, absolutely spot on. BLADE..razor sharp,SCALES..look and feel great,OPENING..very smooth, straight into the one hand opening [VERY QUICK],HANDLING..balanced roughly centre,I've got quite small builders hands and handle shape and scales fit lovely and snug. Over all everything smooth, solid, central, no unwanted marks or sharp edges[bar the blade LOL].Whole knife feels expensive, and sure it will last a long time..Worth every penny. I don't tend to use pocket clips much, and being in a mucky job like to carry them in a belt case.So fortunately my PARA sits lovely in my cudeman MT6 case{Quality case and un marked],and I've put a skull lanyard on it off my POHL ALPHA,till i get another one, this will ensure easy release from case[Looks mint]..Want to thank H.H again,i was really looking forward to this coming, and there is nothing nicer when everything is BANG ON.You do a great job and i struggle to keep away from your site.TILL NEXT TIME..
