The Lil’ Native proudly distills all the key qualities of Spyderco’s iconic Native model into a compact, easy-to-carry folder. This limited-edition Sprint Run version supercharges the Lil’ Native Compression Lock design with a blade crafted from CPM 15V, an extraordinary material that boasts the highest wear resistance of any cold-work tool steel available today. Its unique alloy composition contains almost 15 percent vanadium to create an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. In knife blades, that translates to unparalleled cutting performance and edge retention.
The elite CPM 15V knives are further enhanced by a specialized heat-treating protocol developed by renowned custom knifemaker Shawn Houston. This remarkable Sprint Run Lil’ Native faithfully includes all the defining features of the standard Compression Lock model, including nested stainless steel liners, a high-strength Compression Lock, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip. To highlight its membership in the CPM 15V family, it also features brown peel-ply-textured G-10 handle scales and Shawn Houston’s “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the reverse side of the blade.
