Description

Spyderco’s micro-sized slipjoints are fully functional, impressively sharp folding knives that are very much at home on a keychain. Their stainless steel handles are the perfect palette for engraving or other embellishment and their Trademark Round Holes are much more user friendly than traditional nail nicks.

The flat ground blade is 3Cr13 stainless steel available with a PlainEdge. The Bug's handle offers a flat surface for a small amount of engraving or embellishment and can be customized for use as jewelry or a gift item. Positioned on the end of the handle is a lanyard hole large enough to thread with a chain and be worn around the neck or slipped onto a key chain. The Bug is the smallest folder in our lineup.

Good things come in small packages

    Posted by S on 1st Nov 2014

For what they are these knives are extraordinary. Sharp, rugged and indestructible. The very small size means they will always be their when you need them. A remarkable and simple design from one the world's best knife manufacturers. Btw, I bought ten and give them as gifts.

    Incredibly useful

Posted by The one that got away on 30th Oct 2014

Excellent quality knife! Have found this very useful in everyday situations from the everyday tasks of opening packets, boxes & envelopes etc. It also gets used regularly in the workplace as a small craft knife. However its double the price of the opinel key ring knife that it replaced so just getting the 4 stars!

    Second to none customer service!

Posted by Richard on 2nd Aug 2014

I bought this as a gift for a friend, what can I say other than I WANT ONE! Cracking little knife, well made, razor sharp and UK legal! But what has impressed me even more than the knife is the service from heinne.com, this is my second order from this site and I gotta say the customer service, communication and lightning fast delivery has blown me away!!! I will most definitely be using this site again and again, keep up the good work guys :)

    Cracking little knife

Posted by Davie on 22nd May 2014

I am just waiting on my wages coming through then I will get my order in for my second bug. My first one got stolen along with my car and car keys witch the bug fits onto perfectly. Razor sharp out the box and very well made like all spyderco knifes. Eveen though this small blade meets the uk requirements for a pocket kife be very carefull ware you take it and make shore you have a good excuse for having it becouse in the uk anything can be deemed a wepon if you don't have a reasonable excuse

Fantastic little knife, but I just lost mine and now it's doubled in price. Shame.

    Rule No. 9

Posted by Geoff Roberts on 1st Jan 2014

If you abide by the above "Gibbs" rule (Never go anywhere without a knife), as I do, this is a very useful back-up to my EDC SAK. I've had mine for a good while and keep it, with my Photon Microlight II, on my person at all sensible times. It comes with a reasonable edge and will take a better one (if you know how, of course). Keep it lubricated though or it will be difficult to open.

    A fantastic little knife

Posted by Simon on 13th Dec 2013

This is a great little knife, though is really is very, very tiny. Perfect to just put in your pocket and forget about until you need it to open a parcel or whatever. It's good quality, too. I've had mine a month, now, and have encountered no problems whatsoever. Takes and holds a good sharp edge. I've found that putting it on a keyring makes it easier to hold and use. One thing, though. If you're buying this knife as a present, get one for yourself at the same time. Otherwise, you'll just be placing a second order as soon as you've seen how brilliant this knife is... (I speak from experience here.)

    Just buy one!

Posted by Mike on 6th Dec 2013

I love this little guy! Came out the box razor sharp (hence the bald patch I now have on my arm)and being so small it's perfect for putting on your keys. For the quality and price of this knife I challenge anyone to fault it. Buy one. Simple as!

    great edc mini knife

Posted by Vee on 25th Nov 2013

Bought two of these little knives. Have one on my keyring and the other in my 'memory card' holder in my Maxpedition 'cmc' wallet. They maybe small but well made, a reasonable price and razor sharp for all those times I need a blade for parcel opening, cutting string etc. Very happy with my purchase!
